Walk S - Rowington, Shrewley, Haseley

& Mousley End

Starting point:

The Tom 'O' the Wood public house in Rowington.

The walk and Places of interest:

An interesting walk taking in meadows, country lanes and canal path. There can be quite a lot of mud en route in wet weather and lots of stiles

From the Tom O’ The Wood in Rowington the walk is alongside the  Grand Union Canal before passing the railway and M40 motorway. Before reaching the village of Shrewley, Tunnel Barn Farm Cafe is passed, open in the early morning for breakfast. In Shrewley the Durham Ox pub is 300 yards along the road.

After crossing more fields the village of Haseley is reached. After passing The Falcon at Hatton pub the local church, Saint Mary the Virgin, is passed. The last section of the walk passes through the villages of Mousley End and Turners Green before arriving back at the Tom O’ The Wood.

Park in the Tom 'O' the Wood car park.

Permission has been given by the owner or manager for walkers to leave their vehicles in the car park on the understanding that they will patronise the establishment either before or after the walk.
