Walk O - Burton Green
WALK DESCRIPTION
Hickory’s Smokehouse barbecue style restaurant in Burton Green.
An easy walk, mainly over farmland in both Warwickshire and Solihull. At some point HS2 will pass through Burton Green affecting the route.
Starting at Hickory’s Smokehouse in Cromwell Lane (formerly the Peeping Tom pub) the walk passes over fields and a couple of streams. An old water tower is prominent over the first section of the walk. Kenilworth Greenway is crossed. It is here that disruption from HS2 will occur.
After passing Burton Green School more fields and a lane , Rudfyn Manor is reached. On the return a duckpond is passed before reaching an Electricity Sub-station. After more fields the start point, Hickory’s Smokehouse, is reached.
