Walk K - Honiley & Kenilworth

WALK  DESCRIPTION

Starting point:

The Honiley Court Hotel in Honiley.

The walk and Places of interest:

This is a very pleasant walk of historical interest. There is one stretch of ¼ mile on a walkable verge of the A4177.

 Starting at the Honiley Court Hotel on the A4177 in Honiley, one sets out on a quiet road passing Saint John the Baptist church and over fields to Purlieu Lane in Kenilworth. Here there is an opportunity to explore Kenilworth Castle or visit a local pub.

The return goes via Chase Lane and past Chase Wood. After passing over a stream the route continues over fields out to the A4177. After a short walk along the grass verge  Honiley Court Hotel is reached.

PARKING

Park in the Honiley Court Hotel car park.

Permission has been given by the owner or manager for walkers to leave their vehicles in the car park on the understanding that they will patronise the establishment either before or after the walk.

An alternative starting point is the main (Brays) car park at Kenilworth Castle. This is a pay & display car park.
