Walk G - Leek Wootton
WALK DESCRIPTION
The Anchor Inn public house in Leek Wootton.
This walk covers the perimeter of 'The Warwickshire' golf course. The going is generally level and easy but in parts can be very muddy and wet.
The walk starts at The Anchor Inn pub in the village of Leek Wootton. Going in an anticlockwise direction around 'The Warwickshire' golf course, Woodcote Manor House is encountered to the right. After walking though woodland and farmland a Trig point will be seen to the right just before re-entering the golf course. An arboretum, part of Wootton Court (now The Hayes), is passed though. Towards the end of the walk the route passes through the churchyard of All Saints Church before returning to The Anchor Inn pub.
PARKING
Permission has been given by the owner or manager for walkers to leave their vehicles in the car park on the understanding that they will patronise the establishment either before or after the walk.

The walk can also be started by parking at a lay-by in Rouncil Lane
